Table of Love

I have a table that sets in the center of my kitchen.

Just a simple table, not too big, not too wide.

In the center is nothing but trinkets of such.

A lamp and a few figures of porcelain.

Just something to see and maybe to touch.

But then there is life in chairs that it owns.

Many ages, sizes.

Enjoying the time that it gives.

Eating, playing, laughing with cheers.

Good news and sad news.

Even some tears.

 Fears of so many.

 Comfort thats there.

Voices that tell of many stories.

Of hope, life and cheers.

Yes this is a table of love for all who will accept.

Not fancy.

Not weak.

Just strong to hold the love that it shares.

For all that need rest.
